Technical Assistance to the Community Livestock Development Project
Abstract:
The Community Livestock Development Project (CLDP) was prepared with the participation of the Government and key actors in 2003, taking into account lessons learned in earlier ADB-assisted livestock development projects. ADB approved a loan for the project valued at the equivalent of USD 20 million in December 2003. The loan was signed in April 2004 and became effective in December 2005, with a loan closing date of 31 December 2010. #CommunityLivestockDevelopment

Technical Assitance to the Community Livestock Development Project Nepal
Abstract:
Project UTF/NEP/057/NEP, “Technical Assistance to the Community Livestock Development Project”, was approved in December 2006. With a scheduled duration of 42 months and a budget of USD2,171,237, financed under the ADB loan. The Department of Livestock Services (DLS) was designated the government counterpart agency responsible for project implementation, under the guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC). CLDP implementation began in early 2006, with consulting services from FAO being provided from January 2007, and ended, as scheduled, in June 2010.
