Second Special Session of the General Assembly on Disarmament on 1982
Abstract:
In a new effort to achieve international security, nit by the historic route of possession of arms but by the untried route of disarmament, the General Assembly, opened its Second Special Session on Disarmament on 7 June. During the five-week session which is scheduled to conclude their views on a board range of disarmament questions including the progress made towards the realization of the goals set forth at the First Special held in 1976.
