Abstraction:After the devastating earthquake struck Nepal on 25 April 2015, violence against women increased. UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, in coordination with the Government of Nepal worked with local partners to help protect and empower vulnerable women and girls. Duration: 0:00 to 1.33 min Location: Rasuwa,Nepal Time and Topic of scene: 0.14 sec :The district(Rasuwa) was hit hard by the huge earthquake of April,2015. 0.22 sec :Hundreds of thousands were displaced . 0.34 sec :Sexual Violence and violence against women increased. 0.39 sec :Manju Karmacharya (UNFPA,Nepal) says when the people were displaced,this Female Friendly Space supported outreach to many vulnerable population,especially women,adolescents and young people. 0.52 sec :15,000 people received service,mainly on psycho social support,counselling,end child marriage and domestic and sexual violence. 1.02 sec :In the 14 hardest hit districts UNFPA,Nepal reached over 410,000 people but many of them were vulnerable who still need support.
