WHO district support office in Gorkha to support the government of Nepal after 2015 earthquakes [YOUTUBE]
Abstract:
World Health Organization opened up a district support office in Gorkha, central Nepal, following the 25 April earthquake that shook the country and claimed more than 8000 lives. The support office enables WHO to better respond to the urgent health needs of local communities severely affected by the quake. This video highlights some of the health needs and challenges faced by the team, one month after commencing operations.
