Letter Dated 22 November 2006 from the Secretary-General Addressed to the President of the Security Council (S/2006/920)
Abstract:
During the period under review, the Security Council held nine meetings and adopted three resolutions and one presidential statement in connection with the item entitled “Letter dated 22 November 2006 from the Secretary-General addressed to the President of the Security Council (S/2006/920)”. At the meetings, senior officials of the Secretariat briefed the Council on the progress of the peace process in Nepal and the work of the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN). The mandate of UNMIN was renewed three times in 2010 and was terminated on 15 January 2011 after a four-year engagement. A table lists the meetings held in consideration of this agenda item as well as related information including invitees, speakers and decisions adopted. #UN #2006
