Abstract:
This handbook is written with the intention of collecting together all the knowledge, theory,& practices necessary for the surveying, designing & construction of gravity- flow drinking water systems for rural communities. However,most of the principles presented herein are equally applicable applicable in most locations around the world. New ideas, and better understanding of the principles & problems inherent in projects of this type have hopefully made their way into these pages.
