Abstract:

Unified Maoist cadres requested a UN staff to close the office in support of the bandh. Tharuat Joint Struggle Committee issued a letter demanding all I/NGOs to recruit Tharu candidates. Unified Maoist cadres with a local leader tried to influence donor supported project’s recruitment process. KVSC reiterated that they will not allow I/NGOs to operate in the flood affected region.
