Addressing SGBV Survivors' Needs During Conflict And Post Conflict Transitional Period
Abstract:
Sexual and gender based violence (SGBV) is a heinous crime. Conflicts all over the world have repeatedly witnessed SGBV being used as a weapon of war to inflict shame on the opponent, to weaken them, and to harm their physical and mental integrity. it is politically motivated to establish helplessness. SGBV is used by the more powerful to exploit the most vulnerable members of the community, namely women and children.
