Market Watch 76 ( July 2015 )
Abstract:
Highlights: 1. In July 2015, retail prices of most food commodities monitored in 12 markets across Nepal showed an upward trend due to the lean season and the interruption in supplies because of frequent road obstructions caused by monsoon rains and landslides. 2. Overall inflation rate in July 2015 was 7.6 percent. The food and beverage group was higher at 9.2 percent, as were several sub-groups: legume varieties (36.1 percent), spices (15.7 percent), fruits (13.1 percent) and cereal grains (12.6 percent).
