Location of landslide blocking Kaligandaki River (24 May 2015)
Abstract:
This map shows approximate location of landslide blockage of the Kaligandaki River in Myadgdi District near Baisari Settlement at 24 May. River at this location completely blocked by a dam 200m high forming a lake over 1km long. Map also depicts the 7 districts placed on High Alert by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment as a result of this landslide blockage. Districts placed on high alert from this landslide blockage are Myadgdi, Parbat, Baglung, Gulmi, Palpa, Syangja and Navalparasi
