URL-http://apps.who.int/iris/ The writer was assigned to Nepal as Consultant to the WHO project SEARO 0150, "Short Courses on Aspects of Environmental Health". During his assignment from November to December 1970, it was his task to study the solid wastes collection and disposal, situation in the country and to make appropriate recommendation in this respect, and to organize short courses and discussions on the subject.
