Abstract:

URL-http://apps.who.int/iris/ Purpose of the assignment was to review and assess the child health component of the national family health programme, and to make recommendations for its further development; To make suggestions for strengthening child health programmes, especially at the primary care level, together with recommendations on the necessary supporting services, and To assess what contributions the current WHO projects in maternal and child health/family planning are making towards this objective and to identify areas for further technical cooperation between the Government and WHO in the field of child health.
