The conference is expected to be opened by Minster of Communication and information Shankar Pokharel and attended by media practitioners, information managers and representatives of civil society. In Biratnagar and Nepalgunj on 20 May, the Federation of Nepali Journalist (FNJ), UNESCO, jointly with OHCHR is organizing two regional workshops on the same subject (from 8.30am to 1pm in Biratnagar Sagarmatha Party Palace and Nepalgunj Swastik Cottage Hall, Surkhet Road).
