Ongoing project:Western Uplands Poverty Alleviation Project,Leasehold Forestry and Livestock Programmer,Poverty Alleviation Fund,High-Value Agriculture Project in Hill and Mountain Areas,Improved Seeds for Farmers Programmer.multi stakeholder;Country Programmer Evaluation,Consultations of stakeholders,Background studies,Issues and Options on the Productive Use of Migration and Remittances,Validation workshop.To promote an inclusive and resilient growth in the rural areas and contribute to peace consolidation.Strengthen resilience to risks:Improving food and nutrition security Building adaptive capacities of smallholders to reduce climate risks Expand access to inclusive financial services and products.Promote inclusive,accountable and sustainable rural institutions to improve the livelihoods of the poor,contribute to socioeconomic justice and build public trust.Empowering local communities and disadvantaged groups.Support rural institutions to deliver equitable and responsive services.Foster dialogue between rural stakeholders.Target area:plain and hill districts Central and Eastern regions.Target group;poor households for whom agriculture cannot be a main source of income.small enterprises that either play a key role in securing micro enterprise access to inputs.services and markets potential to generate employment.Economic Security of Women Migrant Workers in Nepal.Promotion of Migrants Savings and Alternative Investment through Credit and Savings Coops.
