Promoting augmentation of the source through pilot demonstration of Rooftop Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) Systems and linking it with the Human Values based Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Education (HVWSHE) in the selected schools of Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh through the mechanism of capacity building of teachers and educating students to bring about changes in attitudes and behavior among them towards wise and sustainable use of water. The initiative was launched jointly by UN-HABITAT, Coca-Cola in cooperation with the Company’s bottler – Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. (HCCBPL) and LCA, Bhopal in November 2007, which has recently been concluded in January 2010 with the handing over of the project to the participating schools.
