Stage is Set for an Inclusive CA Election

Efforts to reach out to those with grievances should continue, but legitimate demands should be pursued through dialogue, not violence. The international community will have no sympathy with any group that carries out acts of violence in pursuit of its grievances or attempts to disrupt the electoral process. Public security is essential not just for a credible election, but for the people of Nepal to carry on their daily lives and build a better future for them selves and their children. This requires both effective policing and the cooperation of all democratic forces at the local level.
