The project’s objective is to provide immediate relief assistance to reduce hunger, enhance the food and nutritional security of targeted vulnerable farming families of the project districts by restoring the production capacity through the provision of the critical inputs.The project aims at improving the food and nutritional security status of the marginalized household, female headed and /or otherwise vulnerable households, mitigating or averting the direct losses of life and physical harm that can result from malnutrition and food insecurity in Rukum, Jajarkot and Kalikot in the western regions of Nepal.
