Portrait of William H. DRAPER III, administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He assumed duties on 5 may 1986. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Draper was the president and chairman of the Board of the United States Export-import bank since 1981. He has obtained a BA degree from yalo university and a master of business administration degree from Harvard university. He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of laws by southeastern university in Washington D.C. in 1985. Born in scarsdale, New York, on 1 January 1928, Mr. Draper is married and has three children.
