The fourth phase of talks between the Talks Team of the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction and Chure Bhawar Pradesh Ekta Samaj, Nepal was conducted on 13 September 2007 (27 Bhadau 2064) at the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction in a cordial environment and the following agreements were reached upon: 1. Necessary legal steps will be taken to withdraw the cases against the nine activists (of Chure Bhawar Samaj), who were accused of murder and arrested during the Chure Bhawar movement in Yagyabhumi VDC of Dhanusa district. Also, other cases registered and arrest warrants made during the movement will be annulled. 2. Arrangements will be made immediately to provide people with services as protection issues have made it difficult to travel to (district) headquarters to utilise the services provided by the government bodies. 3. The government’s decision to provide 1 million rupees to the family of Mangal Bahadur Gurmachhan, who received martyrdom after being killed by the police during the movement of Chure Bhawar Pradesh Ekta Samaj, should be implemented immediately. Arrangements should also be made to provide medical treatment to those who were injured during the movement and have still not received treatment, including the Vice Chairman of Chure Bhawar Pradesh Ekta Samaj.
