Abstraction: The upfront cost of the renewable energy technology like solar home system is one of the major barriers for the low-income households to install the system. Credit facility makes it easier for such households to install the system and pay the loan installments from the savings they can make by replacing kerosene, candle and dry cells. This animated video is developed to create awareness about how credit facility be used to install the solar home system. This video can be used by microfinance institutions, energy companies, and other agencies to create awareness about the solar home system and its financing options.
