Less than two hours after a devastating earthquake hit last month, WHO’s South-East Asia Regional Director, Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh, spoke to Nepal’s Minister of Health and Population to assess how the Organization could best help respond to the country’s urgent medical needs.
