[Abstract]- Three-and-a-half months after a devastating earthquake struck Nepal, people’s lives are slowly getting back to normal.
Durga Shrestha of Panchkhal in Kavre district is trying to reopen her boutique.
The earthquake destroyed Durga’s home and her boutique’s knitting frame. But it couldn’t destroy her skills. She spends the night with her family at a temporary shelter made out of zinc sheets and the debris of her former home.
Durga has been running her boutique for the past three years, after receiving training with support from the Micro Entrepreneur Development Programme.
