Abstract : Meena Adhikari lost her husband during the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal on 25 April 2015. Since then Meena has taken over the responsibility of leading the UNICEF partner non-government organization (NGO) Social Community Development Centre (SCDC) that provides life-saving information related to health, hygiene, water and sanitation and nutrition. The organization has been conducting health education campaigns in 42 most earthquake-affected VDCs in Gorkha.
