[Abstract]- Krishna Laxmi of Kavre and five other micro entrepreneurs have farmed oyster mushrooms for the last three years. After the devastating earthquakes of 2015, these micro entrepreneurs were in a state of grief and too traumatized to restart their enterprise. With the help of UNDP's Rapid Enterprise and Livelihoods Recovery Project (RELRP), funded by Australia, these mushroom farmers have resumed their business despite having lost everything in the quake last year. These entrepreneurs today are still living in temporary makeshifts but the assistance by RELRP with equipment, their condition is slowly improving. With demand increasing in the market, these entrepreneurs are already planning to expand their farm.
