Province No. 6 (proposed name for the province: Karnali Pradesh) is the provisional designation of one of the provinces established by the new constitution of Nepal which was adopted on 20 September 2015. As per, Cabinet Meeting on 17th Jan 2018, Birendranagar has been declared as an Interim State Capital of Province no. 6. Birendranagar and Jumla are the major cities of this Province.
There are 10 districts in Province no 6 which are given below:
1. Dailekh
2. Dolpa
3. Humla
4. Jajarkot
5. Jumla
6. Kalikot
7. Mugu
8. Salyan
9. Surkhet
10. Western Rukum
