Province No. 5 (proposed name for the province: Lumbini Pradesh) is the provisional designation of one of the provinces established by the new constitution of Nepal which was adopted on 20 September 2015. As per, Cabinet Meeting on 17th Jan 2018. Butwal has been declared as an Interim State Capital of Province No. 5. It covers an area of 22,288 km2 (8,605 sq mi). Butwal, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Ghorahi and Tulsipur are the major cities of Province no. 5.

3. Bardiya
4. Dang
5. Eastern Rukum
6. Gulmi
7. Kapilvastu
8. Parasi
9. Palpa
10. Pyuthan
