MoH intends to prepare integrated guidelines on climate resilient health facilities. The ministry has been constructing new facilities and renovating some old facilities as regular activity. The recent earthquake damaged several health facilities and the reconstruction of these facilities has also started. The application of these guidelines can be considered as part of “build back better” concept. It is expected that the new guidelines will be used in most kind of cases for the smooth operation of an updated guidelines for all the health care facilties. World Health Organisation (WHO) has been supporting MoH to implement DfID-funded project "Building
adaptation to climate change in health in least developed countries through resilient WASH" in Nepal. This guideline will be developed as part of this project and under the guidance of MoH.
