पन्ध्र वर्षीय मैना सुनुवारलाइ यातना दिई हत्या गरियो भनेको सात वर्ष पुगेको अवसरमा नेपालस्थित संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघीय मानवअधिकार उच्चायुक्तको कार्यालय (उच्चायुक्तको कार्यालय-नेपाल)कि प्रमुक्ज ज्योति संघेराले नेपाली सेनाका आरिपित चारजना कर्मचारी विरुद्ध काभ्रे जिल्ला अदालतले २०६४ माघ १७ गते दिएको आदेश कार्यन्वयन गरुन सरकारसंग आग्रह गर्नु भएको छ।
जेनेभामा हालै सम्पन्न नेपालको विस्वव्यपी आवधिक समीक्षाको क्रममा "द्वन्दको क्रममा वा द्वन्दपछि भएका गम्भीर मानवअधिकार उल्लङ्घनक लागि जिम्मेवार ठानिएकाहरुका सम्बन्धमा न्यायपालिकाद्वारा भएका सबै निर्णयहरु सम्बन्धित सबै संस्थाहरु, विशेषगारी सेना तथा नेपाल प्रहरी , द्वारा पूर्ण रूपमा सम्मान गरिने छ" भन्ने कुरा सुनिश्चित गर्न गरिएको सिफारिसलाई सरकारले स्वीकार गरेको कुरा उच्चायुक्तको कार्यालय उल्लेख गर्दछ।यस महत्वपुर्ण प्रतिबद्धतालाइ पालना गर्न सरकारका निम्ति यो उपयुक्त समय हो।
