दक्षिण एशियाली राष्ट्रहरुका साथै नेपालका प्रतिनिधिहरु समेत सहभागी रहेका साक्षी तथा पीडित संरक्षणसम्बन्धी नेपालमा भएको दक्षिण एशियाली क्षेत्रीय सम्मेलन तथा राष्ट्रिय परामर्शको समापनपश्चात संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघीय मानवअधिकार उच्चायुक्तको कार्यालय, नेपाल (उच्चायुक्तको कार्यालय )ले सरकारलाइ मानवअधिकार उल्लङ्घन तथा दुर्व्यवहारका पीडित तथा साक्षीहरुको संरक्षण सुनिश्चित गर्न एक प्रभावकारी संयन्त्रको शीघ्र रुपमा स्थापना गर्न आह्वान गरेको छ।यसतो आह्वानमा बृहत कानुन पारित गर्ने तथा प्रमुख पत्रहरुले महिला तथा बालबालिकाको संरक्षणसम्बन्धी विशिष्ट आवश्यकतामाथि विशेष ध्यान पुर्याउनुपर्ने जस्तो कुराहरु पर्दछन।
