This report includes Implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This "SDGs Voluntary Review Report: Eradicating Poverty and Promoting Prosperity in Nepal" is an attempt to update the SDGs mainstreaming and implementation process adopted by Nepal and achievements made in implementation up to the review period in May 2017. This report was prepared simultaneously with SDGs baseline report of Nepal through consultative process. The Economic Management Division of the National Planning Commission (NPC) and SDGs Thematic Committees at NPC coordinated and facilitated the consultative processes.
Main objective of this review is to assess the state of art in SDGs implementation in Nepal. Specific objectives are to establish the baseline data for SDGs monitoring; to review the sectoral plans, priorities and targets of Nepal and their alignment to SDGs national targets and indicators;to assess one-year progress on SDGs implementation; and to collect and document lesson learned of this review for future reference.
