Micro Enterprise Development Programme

The Micro-enterprise Development Programme supported by the UNDP and
being implemented by His Majesty’s Government of Nepal Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply (MOICS) held its second Tripartite Programme Review meeting on 11th December 2000. Representatives of His Majesty’s Government, UNDP, Implementing Partner Organizations, programme-supported entrepreneurs and MEDEP programme personnel attended the daylong tripartite meeting. The programme is currently in its third year of implementation in ten districts across Nepal. The previous tripartite meeting was held on the 11 and 12 of November 1999 in Nawalparasi district. The programme is being currently implemented in Nawalparasi, Parbat, Nuwakot, Sunsari, Danusha, Therathum,Baitadi, Dadheldhura, Dang and Pyuthan districts.
