After the 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit several areas of Nepal in April 2015, many funds were transferred to provide relief to the victims.
The strategy of the Cash Transfer Programmes were as follows:
Combination of Cash for Assets & Cash for Training
• Cash for Training for vulnerable unable to participate in CFA
work activities
• In line with Government of Nepal preference for conditional
cash transfer programmes
