United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), as a cosponsor of Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS)aims to increase access to appropriate HIV services by those who use drugs and are in prison. UNODC strives to develop, implement and advance various strategies and programmes that helps in the awareness and easy accessibility of the services required to control and prevent HIV/AIDS.
