From Protocol to Practice: A Bridge To Global Action On Forced Labour (The Bridge Project)

The objective of Bridge Nepal is to effectively eliminate traditional and modern slavery/forced labour systems and to significantly reduce contemporary forms of forced labour, which are often linked to human trafficking.

The project aims to put follow-up strategy into practice through the four inter-related outcomes such as strengthen the capacity of line Ministries to develop, Implement and monitor policies and national action plans on forced labour,Support for public awareness campaigns against all kinds of forced labour, particularly in bonded
labour,Enhance capacity building to improve law enforcement to better identify and document all cases of forced labour,Establish partnerships with the government and local organizations to improve livelihoods programmes/services to victims of bonded labour.
