Electoral Atlas Nepal

The Electoral Atlas is a collection of updated district-wise electoral maps, information and Constituent Assembly (CA) Election 2008 and 2013 result and is prepared based on the data received from the District Election Office (DEO) and ECN secretariat. The constituency maps were generated based on polling locations mapping data captured by DEOs and shows district, constituency and VDC boundaries with polling locations. ESRI ArcGIS 10 Software is extensively used to produce election maps.

This Electoral Atlas is produced based on the polling location datasets captured by all 75 District Election Commission Offices (DEO) across the country and the baseline topographic data collected from the Department of Survey. This Atlas contains updated constituency maps, baseline electoral datasets, CA Election 2013 results and polling location details aggregated at district level. The Atlas presents both maps and comprehensive electoral information attributes at district and constituency levels. The atlas presents districts wise maps showing district, constituency, and VDC boundaries with polling locations details and as well as include comprehensive electoral information and attributes on total constituencies, total voters, polling locations and centers, number of FPTP candidates, voters turnout and invalid votes under FPTP and PR, physical, transportation and other infrastructure conditions of polling location disaggregated at district level, constituency wise statistics of FPTP and PR and the elected candidates details etc.
