Micro enterprise development program is a multinational donor funded poverty reduction imitative supported by government of Nepal and the united nation development program. The program has been working with the poor people especially women and those from the excluded groups since 1998. The program focuses on translating broader vision of government ninth five year plan on addressing the poverty through the support for the creation and development of micro enterprise among low income families.
