UNESCO’s pioneering base-line study “Assessment of Media Development in Nepal”, which will be launched on 19 December 2013 in Kathmandu, provides comprehensive material to analyze the country’s me “The assessment of Nepal’s media landscape is intended to accompany the country in its democratic transition and to foster free, independent and pluralist media”, says Axel Plathe, UNESCO Representative to Nepal media landscape.
