This is now the official document and the basis for preparing Disaster Preparedness and Response (DPR) Plan. The MoHA has instructed all 75 district authorities to prepare DPR Plans jointly with humanitarian agencies working in the districts. These preparedness activities have strengthened district-level capacities, ensuring effective, timely and coordinated responses by the relevant authorities and partners to the recurring floods and landslides. As a result, the impact of preparedness initiatives observed in the flood affected district in 2011.
