Nepal : Diarrhoea Outbreak in Mid West and Far West Region (As of August 03, 2009)

The Districts of the Mid Western Region and Far Western Region are affected by an outbreak of Acute Watery Diarrhoea (AWD). A total of 233 diarrhoea related deaths reported in 16 districts in Mid and Far Western Regions, from 5 May to 3 August 2009, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
