The Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights considered the third periodic report of Nepal on the implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (E/C.12/NPL/3) at its 56th and 57th meetings (E/C.12/2014/SR.56-57) held on 19 and 20 November 2014, and adopted, at its 70th meeting, held on 28 November 2014, the following concluding observations. The Committee notes with appreciation the submission of the third periodic report and the written replies to the list of issues (E/C.12/NPL/Q/3/Add.1). The Committee also welcomes the opportunity to engage with the high level and inter ministerial delegation ofthe State party and expresses appreciation for the frank and constructive dialogue that it had.
