The Nepal climate change support programme (NCCSP) is the significant,government lead initiative to implement Nepal's National Adaptation Programme of Action (NAPA),with a focus on priority area 1- promoting community based adaptation through integrated management of agriculture, water, forest, and biodiversity sectors. The government of Nepal facilitated preparation and implementation of the NAPA and endorsed National Framework on Local Adaptation Plans for Action(LAPA).The aim of which is to integrate climate change adaptation activities in to local and national development planning process to ensure climate resilient development.the programme aims to mainstream climate change into Nepal's National Development Agenda contribute to Poverty Reduction, Livelihood Diversification and community resilience.
