PDF File Size: 362 KB | Download
Suk Maya Tamang, a mother of three children is working as unskilled labor for debris removal activity of IOM-Early Recovery program in Dhading District. After the major earthquake on 25 April 2015, most of the people including Ms. Tamang living in Zharlang VDC migrated in search of safer place. Finally they temporarily settled in Tatopani camp site since June 2015. She along with around 111 households is living in Tatopani camp site at this moment. Ms. Tamang mentioned that as donations and distribution in the camp site has decreased in recent months, they were struggling to live in the Dhading municipality. She although wished to return to their place of origin but fear of landslides has prevented her to return back home.
