MEDEP is contributing to the larger outcomes of UNDAF CPAP outputs and the government's poverty reduction and employment generation proirities by bringing qualitative changes in the lives and livelihoods of rural people. As per the gender and social inclusion impact study conducted in 2014, MEDEP ha demonstrated a viable model for poverty alleviation and social inclusion through optimum use of local resources, indigenous skills and collaboration of sustainable livelihoods and ensuring the inclusion of the socially excluded groups. To facilitate MEDEP and MEDPA promoted micro enterpreneur's access to finance, MEDEP brokered seven partnership agreements between banking and financial institutes and the ministry of Industry.
