The National workshop on Disaster Preparedness and Response Planning has completed on 18 March 2011. Based on the recommendations of the National workshop, Government of Nepal, jointly with humanitarian partners has decided to conduct the similar workshop in the regional level across five region of Nepal within the month of April and May 2011. As a result the first regional level Disaster Preparedness planning workshop was completed on 10 and 11 April in Dhangadhi.The second regional level disaster preparedness and response planning workshop was was conducted on 19 and 20 April in Nepalgunj.
