Highlights:
1. Medical teams at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) have been carrying out their function smoothly and all the logistics are in place. Altogether 32116 passengers from 538 flights have been screened so far.
2. Domestic Airport in Pokhara has established the health desk to screen the passengers, who have missed screening during their entry from TIA and who were in possible incubation period (at a time of entry they may not have developed symptoms).
3. Surveillance activities continue in the Early Warning and Response System (EWARS) sites. Control Room at EDCD is working round the clock. EDCD and AICP are coordinating all the ongoing activities. Regular updates have been provided to EDCD.
4. Two laboratory professionals are going for laboratory trainings in Bangkok from June 9th- 12th 2009.
