As of 13 August 2009, 182,166 cases and 1799 deaths have been reported from 178 countries. The countries and territories/communities that have most recently reported their first confirmed Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 case(s) as of 13 August 2009 are: Ghana, Zambia and Tavalu. First deaths related to the Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 virus have been reported in Iraq, Ireland, Mauritius and West Bank/ Gaza.
