Finalization of HACT Compliance in Nepal
|
Highlights:
1. Macro assessment Nepal's Public and Financial Management was completed in Dec 2007 which was endorsed by the Government of Nepal (GoN) on 10 June 2008.
2. Micro assessment of the 75 implementing partners, including government and non government entities was completed in January, 2009. The Micro Assessment Reports have been shared with all implementing partners.
3. An agreement has been reached with the GoN on HACT implementation in harmonized Country Programmes Action Plans (CPAPs) of the three agencies. The CPAPs were jointly signed by government on 22 February, 2008 which has the relevant HACT clauses in the programmes management sections.
