Formed in 1961, from its Headquarter (HQ) in Rome and its offices in more than 75 countries, WFP pursues a vision of the world in which everyone has access at all times to the food needed for an active and healthy life. Each year, on average, WFP feeds more than 90 million people worldwide. WFP is voluntarily funded and the donations come from governments, corporations and individuals.
