A joint statement of partnership was signed to ensure measles elimination and rubella / congenital rubella syndrome (CRS) control by 2019, on 18 September 2014. The partners are the Ministry of Health and Population/the Government of Nepal, the World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Lions Club International and Nepal Pediatric Society (NEPAS) .
