PDF File Size: 1.19 MB | Download
The Kingdom of Nepal is a multi-ethnic and multilingual nation. Its rich linguistic and cultural heritage constitute an important part of the nation as well as of the world and deserve our concern and attention. This volume includes information on the current situation of a total of sixty languages that are either spoken or at least understood in Nepal today. The questionnaires were filled in by native speakers of each language or, where such persons could not be found or reached, by linguists who had studied the language in depth.
